Colorado State Time Trial Championships Training Plan. This 12-week training plan starts March 25th for the 12 weeks of training up until race day on June 17th!
Whether you’re going for a state title or a PR at the Colorado State Time Trial Championships in June, our Time Trial Training Plan will help you get there! You’ll be training to increase your threshold power with Threshold, VO2 Max, and Anaerobic workouts. You’ll perform race-specific time trial intervals to target your 40K power output like the ones we’ve described in this training tip. Plus, we’ve included the option to include the Cherry Creek Time Trial series to hone your TT skills. Additional time trials include the Haystack TT and Best of Hess Time Trial (one week before States) to get you riding at your very best!

- Aerodynamic Positioning Tips, “Turtling”

Finally, this plan also includes all the “marginal gains” details to get even faster: Recovery Techniques, Rest Days, Yoga, Foundations, and best of all, Strength and Conditioning – all you need is a physical therapy style rubber band and MOTIVATION! There are instructional videos in the plan for you to follow along at home.
