You’ll start and finish the 6 weeks with a field test to set your training zones via the included FasCat Wattage and Heart Rate Zones Sheet. This way you’ll be sure to ride at the correct efforts and you can measure your improvement too! Plus, this plan includes all the “marginal gains” details to get even faster: Recovery Techniques, Rest Days, Yoga, Foundations, and best of all, Strength and Conditioning – all you need is a physical therapy style rubber band and MOTIVATION! There are instructional videos in the plan for you to follow along at home.

    I have just completed the basic plan and my FTP has gone up by 8.7% after just 6 weeks!!

    I would’ve loved to do the intermediate one, however, unfortunately, my schedule doesn’t allow for that type of time commitment at the moment. I’ve been riding for a few years but this was my first time performing any kind of structured cycling training plan.

    The plan features very clear and easy to follow instructions. They use Training Peaks, so the workouts easily sync to most cycling computers/head units, as well as virtual training programs, i.e. Zwift.

    Probably my favorite feature – especially as someone who is new to training – is that whenever I had any questions about the plan or training in general, I could get an informative response from coach Frank on the private Facebook group, typically within an hour of asking it. I’ve also found it quite informative to read the questions and answers between other members and FasCat coaches.
