How do I get my first week free?
Fill out the New Athlete Questionnaire, choose your coaching level, and check out. Then you meet and talk with your new coach. Your first week of 1:1 coaching is free.
Is a credit card required to start the free week?
Yes. A credit card is required to start your free week. Your card is automatically charged at the end of the week if you continue.
How does billing work?
We bill on a 4-week cycle, not monthly, so your coaching blocks stay aligned. You get a new training plan every 4 weeks and a receipt by email. Billing is automatic unless you pay annually, which saves you up to 20%. You can cancel anytime from your Profile under Manage Subscription.
What if I cancel before the week is over?
If you cancel before the week is over you will not be charged, but you will lose your training plan.
What is it like to work with a FasCat coach?
Fun and motivating. We build sustainable, long-term coaching relationships, and it starts with strong communication. Your coach builds a plan tailored to your goals, lifestyle, and data, and has your back the whole way. FasCat founder Frank Overton will personally help pair you with the coach who fits your goals.
How does FasCat coaching work?
Your training plan is delivered through one of two platforms. Chase and Catch levels use TrainingPeaks, which is cloud-based and easy to update. Hunt level uses the CoachCat App, where your coach guides your plan and the CoachCat AI answers your day-to-day questions. Every level includes the CoachCat App and our AI assistant, CoachCat, for daily analysis of your wearable data (sleep and HRV), nutrition, and instant post-ride analysis.
How often do I talk to my coach?
It depends on your level. Hunt includes one call every 4 weeks with CoachCat for instant analysis. Chase includes one call every 4 weeks with a weekly power review by your coach. Catch includes one call every 2 weeks with a twice-weekly coach review. Want more feedback and guidance? Choose Catch. Prefer a lower-touch experience with AI support? Hunt is a great fit.
Do I need a power meter?
It is not required, but we highly recommend a power meter. It allows for deeper analysis and more personalized coaching.
What if I get sick, injured, or my schedule changes?
Life happens and we adapt. Every level includes plan adjustments for illness, injury, travel, weather, and fatigue. If your schedule changes often, Chase or Catch is recommended so your coach can revise your plan more frequently. On Hunt level, the CoachCat AI helps you adjust your plan.
What is expected of me as an athlete?
To get the most from coaching, communicate and be coachable. Follow your training calendar as closely as you can, give your coach advance notice of schedule conflicts, leave feedback after your rides, and be present and prepared for your coaching calls.
Which coaching level should I choose?
Pick the level whose service and price fit your goals and budget. Not sure? Frank will help you find the right fit during your consultation. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your FasCat account as your needs, season, or budget change.
What should I do before my first coaching consultation?
Fill out our New Athlete Questionnaire and come ready with your goals (races, events, or performance targets), your training availability and lifestyle constraints, your preferred coaching level and contact frequency, and any questions about power data, platforms, or communication.
Who do I contact with concerns about my coach?
If your coach is not meeting your expectations, reach out directly to FasCat founder Frank Overton. Our standard is excellence and we take your progress seriously.
