Cyclocross Coach

Full Time: $45 - $75k /annually commensurate with 2-10+ years coaching experience

We will also consider part time Coaches if the fit is right

3 weeks paid vacation +  health insurance 

Remote / Work From Home 

This is a work from anywhere position in a traditional Monday thru Friday, 8-5pm format. 45+ hours per week.

FasCat Coaching is seeking an experienced cyclocross coach to join its Coalition*.

*A Coalition is a group of cheetahs.

The coach will work closely within the organization to help cyclocross athletes learn and practice cyclocross skills and design custom cyclocross training plans for 1x1 coached athletes.

The successful candidate should have 2 years or more of online cyclocross coaching experience with the TrainingPeaks platform, excellent coach-athlete communication and professional relationships skills. A proven coaching track record is a must!

The successful candidate will also poses these criteria and along with FasCat’s Nine Core Values:

  • Have been or be a Category 2 cyclist or Higher
  • Be well versed in cyclocross coaching methodologies
  • Subscribe to and be able to exemplify our nine core coaching values.
  • Have 2 years or more of full time coaching experience managing athletes,
  • Experience designing custom power based cyclocross training calendars 
  • Experience Developing sustainable and long lasting Coach-Athlete Relationships

About Frank Overton

Frank founded FasCat Coaching in 2002 and has been a full time cycling coach since 2004. His educational background includes a Masters degree in Physiology from North Carolina State University, pre-med from Hampden-Sydney College. Frank raced at a professional level on the road and mountain bike and currently competes as a "masters" level gravel and cyclocrosser. Professionally Frank comes from medical school spinal cord research and molecular biotechnology. However, to this day it is a dream come true for Frank to be able to help cyclists as a coach.
