What's your level right now? And what do you want it to be by next spring? In Coach Cat, level is how much you've been riding lately. Ride more and it goes up.
Ride less and it goes down. Level is your real world fitness score. As your fitness rises during the base phase, your FTP increases. During rest, level drops, but that's actually when your FTP goes up.
Many athletes come into the winter with a level of around 40 to 60. By spring, the goal is pushing 70 or 80 or even higher if your recovery and time to train allows. So, here's the challenge. What's your level right now?
And what do you want to level up to by next spring? Let us know in the comments below. Train smarter, ride faster, and as always, FTFP.
