Ride with your group
Every ride splits into pace groups by FTP in watts per kilo, the same A to E categories Zwift uses. Pick the group that matches your ability and a FasCat Coach is there with you, so nobody gets dropped and nobody gets bored.
4.0+ W/kg
Strong racers and fast group riders
3.2 to 3.9 W/kg
Experienced racers and fit club riders
2.5 to 3.1 W/kg
Regular riders building toward racing or big events
Under 2.5 W/kg
Newer riders and anyone rebuilding fitness
Open any W/kg
Ride at your own pace, no pressure, still coached
Enter your FTP and weight. Don't know your FTP? CoachCat detects it from your rides.

Your plan matches the group
The Nov to Feb framework is captured in our 16 Weeks of Sweet Spot plan and the Sweet Spot Part 1 to 4 plans. Join on day one or in January: CoachCat drops you into the right phase, and the group ride you jump on that week trains the same system your plan does.
Field test to set your zones, then progressive sweet spot. Saturdays carry the long sweet spot ride, Thursdays keep the aerobic engine humming.
Sweet Spot Part 1 →Longer intervals, more time at sweet spot. A second test around the halfway point measures your gains and updates your zones.
Sweet Spot Part 2 →Long sweet spot OTS rides on Saturdays and short structured wintertime intensity during the week. Turnt Up Tuesday is that intensity, with a crew.
Sweet Spot Part 3 →The 3 > 4 > 5 minute VO2 max progression pushes your threshold higher, then a final test shows what the winter built. Athletes typically raise FTP 5 to 20%.
Sweet Spot Part 4 →
16 Weeks of Sweet Spot, Parts 1 to 4, 30 Week Weights + Sweet Spot Base, and the rest of the FasCat plan library come with your CoachCat membership. Or let CoachCat build a custom plan around your hours and your goal event.
Everything you need, two ways in
$400 to $500 one-time, for one winter
$35/month, everything included
from$199/month, group training included
Built around your goal, your hours, and your power data, then adjusted as you train.
CoachCat spots a new FTP from your rides and updates your zones, so your sweet spot stays sweet.
See how well each ride hit the target, and how much you recovered for the next one.

Nothing extra. Group training is included in your CoachCat membership at $35 a month, and in every 1:1 coaching level if you have a FasCat Coach. There is no program fee, no deposit, and no add-on. Start with a free week, no credit card needed.
Yes. Winter Group Training is included at every 1:1 coaching level, Hunt, Chase, and Catch, at no extra charge. Your coach works the rides into your plan, and you join the same Zwift club and Discord as everyone else.
The program begins Tuesday, Nov 17 with Turnt Up Tuesday, followed by Zone 2 Thursday on Nov 19 and Sweet Spot Saturday on Nov 21. We take Thanksgiving week off and ride through the end of February.
Any cyclist who wants a structured winter: road, gravel, mountain bike, cyclocross, and triathlon. Every ride has A, B, C, D and E pace groups by watts per kilo, from 4.0+ W/kg racers to an open group for any ability, and a FasCat Coach rides with each one.
A smart trainer (or a power meter on a regular trainer), a Zwift account, and the free Discord app on your phone or computer. A heart rate monitor helps. Zwift is a separate subscription.
Join our Zwift club and the ride from the event. Open Discord to hear the coach and talk to the group. The coach calls the efforts, explains the why, and answers questions as you ride.
Yes. The winter framework is captured in 16 Weeks of Sweet Spot and Sweet Spot Parts 1 to 4, so CoachCat can start you in the phase that fits your fitness. Each ride format trains a system your plan already calls for: Saturday sweet spot, Thursday endurance, Tuesday intensity.
No. Ride the ones that fit your week. Your plan in CoachCat covers the rest of your training indoors or outside, and the coaches are in Discord between rides.
Yes. The group rides are on Zwift, but your CoachCat plan works on the road too. Plenty of athletes ride Saturday outside and join Tuesday and Thursday indoors.
Our ride calendar on the Train with Me page shows every ride in your local timezone, with one click to add it to your calendar. Athletes join from all over the world.
The group rides are the same either way. CoachCat gives you a custom plan, coach-led rides, and coach access in Discord for $35 a month. 1:1 coaching adds a personal FasCat Coach who writes and adjusts your plan by hand, reviews your files, and works the group rides into your week, from $199 a month with group training included. You can upgrade any time on the hire a coach page.
Your membership keeps going and CoachCat keeps coaching you into your build and race season. The group rides continue through April.
What is FasCat Winter Group Training
Winter is where next season is won. Group training gives you the structure of a plan, the accountability of a crew, and real coaches teaching you why every interval matters. You get it all without paying for a separate program.
Nov 17 through February follows the FasCat sweet spot base progression, the same framework behind 16 Weeks of Sweet Spot. The group rides line up with the phase you are in.
New to structure or coming off a big season, CoachCat builds your custom plan from your power, your hours, and your goals, so your training at home matches what the group is doing.
The FasCat Coaches lead every ride and talk you through it in Discord. Ask about pacing, cadence, fueling, or your plan while you ride, not three days later in an email.
Your plan, auto FTP detection, your Optimize score, Ask CoachCat, the live Ask a FasCat show on Fridays, and the group rides all live under one $35 membership.
Group training starts Nov 17. Start CoachCat or hire a FasCat Coach. The rides are included either way, so get your plan set up now and roll into the first ride ready.
