#secrettraining: Drink More Water
You are not drinking enough water. I can pretty much guarantee it. If there is one easy thing you can start today to make you a better bike racer (and person) is to drink more water. How much should you drink? You can Google that question and get a thousand different answers, so here is our suggestion: Try to drink a gallon of pure, plain water per day. Sip it throughout the day. There is no science behind this. It’s just what works for me. Keep a variety of water bottles (I like glass or stainless steel) floating around your world. Leave one in the kitchen, in your bathroom, in the car, on your desk…anywhere you might be able to take a swig.
Beer and coffee do not count as water, but they are important. I’ll offer more on these topics at a later time.
Did you stumble upon #SecretTraining a bit late? Don’t worry, just start doing it and modify the calendar to catch up. Make a plan and stick to it.
